Who We Are

I provide seed, seedlings, grafted plants, field grafting services, and consulting. Email or call to make a request. See our Variety List for more on what we offer.

I focus on American Persimmon, Shagbark and shagbark hybrids with Yellowbud, and Honey Locust.

I also propagate Black Walnut and Mulberry. I can always provide plants/seeds of Black and Red Raspberry, Strawberry, Flour Corn, and Storage Squash among other things.

The nursery is zone 4b on very fertile clay soils on flat ground. Breeding grounds are on a South slope in zone 4b on clay loam.

I am willing to ship plants to any state touching WI. Will provide scion outside to breeders. I only specialize in plants suited zone 4a to zone 5a for upper midwest.

Nursery Schedule

• Spring Bare-root Digging (April 1st to April 20th) - Spring is the only time to transplant persimmon and a fine time for everything else
• Annual Seed Sharing (Dec 1st to March 15th) - Come and snag some staple annual seeds
• Custom Graft Requests Due (Feb 1st) - Email by this date to ensure we collect grafting scion for spring grafting.
• Custom Grafting (May 10th to June 5th) - I will graft your estabilished trees which will reduce transplant shock. Hickory only with 10 or more trees. $40/hour plus driving
• Consulting - We offer in person design services and advice about your specific site. Email to schedule. $40/hour plus driving
